Treesearch can help you to arrange conferences, seminars, workshops or study visits

Treesearch is a platform that promotes collaboration between research institute, academia and industry. Treesearch contributes with spreading knowledge of research results and promotes the creation of personal contacts and knowledge exchange between partners in Treesearch.

Treesearch offers support for organizing conferences, seminars, workshops, and study visits that relate to one or more of Treesearch’s four thematic research areas. If you want to apply for support to organize an event that is relevant to the research in Treesearch you are welcome to send a request by filling in the application form at the bottom of this page.

What can Treesearch support?

Marketing materials: Help with the design of invitations, brochures, rollups, and posters. Access to online systems for registration and event page at www.treesearch.se if desired.

Marketing: Sending invitations and spreading information about the event in Treesearch’s channels (newsletter, calendar, news on the website).

Conference material: Creation of name tags (in wood or paper, not plastic), participant lists, programs, brochures, giveaways, speaker gifts, etc.

Dissemination of research: Treesearch wants to spread research results! Treesearch encourages streaming or filming the event and making it available online. Treesearch can to some extent help with arranging this.

What terms must be fulfilled to get support from Treesearch?

Related research content: The event should relate to at least one of Treesearch four thematic research areas and you who apply for support should be associated to Treesearch.

Visibility of Treesearch: If possible, the event should be named one of Treesearch’s conference concepts and added to the calendar. The Treesearch logo should be visible on marketing and event material. During the event, Treesearch’s rollup and/or beach flag should be visible in close proximity to the premises.

Capacity and planning: Treesearch must receive information via the application form below in good time to be able to provide the right support, produce marketing material and be able to spread information. The need from the organizer and the possibility for support from Treesearch is discussed and decided based on the information we receive. Treesearch reserves the right to refuse support.

Spreading research: Treesearch wants to spread research results! Therefore, Treesearch wants to invite, if possible, associated researchers to the event (number of invited researchers from Treesearch is decided in consultation with the organizer).

What can Treesearch support?

What terms must be fulfilled to get support from Treesearch?

Between partners in Treesearch: The study visit should take place between partners in Treesearch and contribute to research-related knowledge exchange. At least one participating party must be from academia.

Research focus: The study visit should relate to relevant research belonging to one or more of the four thematic research areas.

Visibility of Treesearch: The study visit should be named a Treesearch Meet according to the conference concept and should be reported as News on the Treesearch website. The application form (below) must be completed and in addition, the following information is needed to report study visits as News:

  1.     A photo from the study visit (approved according to GDPR)
  2.     Brief text describing the execution
  3.     List of participants and participating partners

Capacity and planning: Treesearch must receive information via the application form below in good time to be able to provide the right support. Treesearch reserves the right to refuse support.

Increased knowledge exchange: Treesearch wants to promote the exchange of knowledge and encourages, if possible, more invited associated researchers for the study visit.
