Project: Recovery of hemicelluloses from thermomechanical mill waste water

Research area:
- My project focus on the recovery, purification and concentration of biocomponents from complex process streams found in biorefineries by using membrane filtration. We enhance the economical viability by the processes by optimizing process conditions and used pretreatment methods. To demonstrate the economic viability of the processes, techno-economical cost estimates based on lab-and pilotscale trials are performed.
