PhD project: Readily biodegradable vinyl polymers from biobased resources

Research area:
Develop biobased vinyl monomers that can be polymerized by (free) radical methods to result in polymers with labile linkers in the back bone, to achieve some biodegradation of the same polymers. End goal is making thermally expandable microspheres with these polymers.
