My work consists of understanding the strength-toughness balance of novel cellulose nanocomposites by exploring microstructures, weak interfaces, anisotropy, and lamella thickness. My competences and research interests are in finite element and micromechanical modelling, strength of materials, fracture mechanics and mechanical testing of materials.
