Join the in-conference study visit arranged by our industrial partner Holmen!

You will have the opportunity to choose between a visit to the Braviken mill or a study visit focusing on the foundation of our work – forestry.

The presentations by young researchers, PhD students, and postdocs within Treesearch are among the most appreciated parts of the conference.

You can look forward to an inspiring event featuring plenary sessions, research presentations, and—last but not least— opportunities to connect and network.

Treesearch Progress is Treesearch’s largest conference, bringing together participants from universities, research institutes, and industry partners across the Treesearch platform.

Who can attend: The conference is open for you who are Treesearch associated (e.g., researcher, PhD student, postdoc, industrial specialist) or working at a Treesearch partner.

Cost: Treesearch Progress 2026, including dinner, is free to attend! Participants pay for accommodation (option to book during registration).

Venue: Vildmarkshotellet, Norrköping.

Travel: Participants book their own travel. Treesearch arranges transfer bus from Stockholm. The transfer bus is booked during registration.

Transfer Bus Stockholm: The bus departs 07:30 on 14 April 2026 from the City Terminal Map

The assigned bay/platform number will be displayed on timetable screens inside the terminal. Look for “Treesearch / Vildmarkshotellet” (Kolmårdens Buss).

Accommodation: Participants/the participants’ organisations cover costs for accommodation at Vildmarkshotellet. Prices range from 1950 SEK/night for a single room to 1250 SEK/night for a share in a double room. Prices excl. VAT. Accommodation can be booked in the registration form. Please note that a separate payment link will be sent.
