Research area:
We aim to find a replacement technology for vapor compression cooling by harvesting the caloric cooling properties of different polymers. The project revolves around material research in the field of multicaloric cooling and aims to establish a mechano-electro caloric cooling mechanism that is used as a demonstrator for high performance, sub ambient cooling of heat generators such as computer chips.
