Treesearch Progress is Treesearch’s largest conference, gathering participants from all universities and industries in Treesearch! The previous Treesearch Progress in 2022 gathered almost 200 participants!
The program for Treesearch Progress 2024 will be published shortly. You can look forward to an inspiring event with plenary sessions, research presentations, and, not least, opportunities to make new contacts!
The presentations by young researchers, PhD students and postdocs in Treesearch are among the most appreciated parts of the conference. The selected abstracts are now published!
Who can attend: The conference is open for you who are Treesearch associated (e.g., researcher, PhD student, postdoc, industrial specialist) or working at a Treesearch partner.
Venue: Vildmarkshotellet, Norrköping (see map below). Hotel rooms at Vildmarkshotellet are booked via the registration.
Cost: the conference, including dinner, is free to attend!
Accommodation: Accommodation is booked in the registration form. For PhD students and postdocs, Treesearch is covering the cost of the hotel rooms. For other types of participation, the accommodation is paid for by the attendee.
Bus transfer Stockholm: The bus will depart from/arrive at Cityterminalen in central Stockholm. To find the gate, please check the information boards.

Transfer Katrineholm: Treesearch will be in contact with those who have registered for transfer from/to Katrineholm
Public transportation: Busses to/from Vildmarkshotellet depart two times per hour and connect to the train stations Kolmården and Norrköping C. Find the timetable at ostgotatrafiken.se or book your combined train + bus ticket at sj.se
Travel by car: free parking is available outside the hotel. Please go to the lobby and register your car on the registration screen.

Treesearch aims at creating a national platform to support the research on new materials from the forest. Research projects conducted within Treesearch research areas and the researchers who are active in these projects are welcome to join the platform.
