My research concerns bioenergy and resource recovery. I am studying biochar and ashes from residual streams regarding water and soil applications and nutrient recycling. In my research, I am working with the characterisation of the material, including analysing the samples with X-ray tomography, which provides a 3D image of the sample, and with the help of advanced image processing, properties of the samples can be obtained.
Treesearch aims at creating a national platform to support the research on new materials from the forest. Research projects conducted within Treesearch research areas and the researchers who are active in these projects are welcome to join the platform.
