Research area:

My research focuses on the use of fungal technologies to upcycle abundant underutilized lignocellulosic biomass by generating innovative bio-based materials and industrially relevant enzymes. More specifically, fungi will be studied for their efficiency in biomass degradation, offering a deeper understanding on the molecular interactions of fungal mycelium and lignocellulose modification.
