My project Lignin Biorefining and Valorization is tailored around carbohydrate template effects on lignin polymerization. By elucidating how the lignin polymer organizes dependent on the direct neighboring environment, I aspire to add value to fundamental knowledge that will be beneficial for the development and optimization of further biorefining and valorization processes.
Treesearch aims at creating a national platform to support the research on new materials from the forest. Research projects conducted within Treesearch research areas and the researchers who are active in these projects are welcome to join the platform.
