PhD project: Investigation of the local atomic structure of Cellulose using Scanning Electron Diffraction.

Research area:

This project focuses on improved characterization of cellulose using electron microscopy, particularly 4D-STEM. The study spans from the aligned orientation of nanofibers in wood and other biomaterials to the crystallinity and morphology of extracted nanocellulose.
