My project focus on the recovery, purification and concentration of biocomponents from complex process streams found in biorefineries by using membrane filtration. We enhance the economical viability by the processes by optimizing process conditions and used pretreatment methods. To demonstrate the economic viability of the processes, techno-economical cost estimates based on lab-and pilotscale trials are performed.
Treesearch aims at creating a national platform to support the research on new materials from the forest. Research projects conducted within Treesearch research areas and the researchers who are active in these projects are welcome to join the platform.
