Rebecca Leblay

Dr. Rébecca Leblay earned her PhD on Bioinorganic Chemistry from Aix Marseille Université, France. She has an engineering master degree in chemistry and biotechnology and her expertise lies in enzymology, biochemistry ,spectroscopy and analytical chemistry applied to polysaccharide modification. As a postdoctoral researcher in the Olsson Group, her research focuses on the discovery and characterization of CAZymes in order to develop new functionalization strategies of wood-derived streams and contribute to the expansion of bio-based production.
