Project: In-operando and in-situ studies of bio-based foams and films

Determining the processing-induced alignment and orientation of nanocellulose, e.g. during freeze-casting, and the structural changes associated with absorption and uptake of moisture and inorganic and organic molecules by in-situ and in-operando SAXS, WAXS, and SANS and Introducing TEM-based methods to study the local chemical and structural changes of bio-based films and foams when exposed to liquids and gases with Å-resolution will be the main two tasks in this project.
