- Polymer chemistry particularly regarding the synthesis and characterization of polymers derived from various biomass resources, such as lignin, sugar, and other agricultural and forestry wastes. We focus on understanding the fundamental knowledge about the molecular design of new biobased polymers and investigating the potential applications toward various types of materials such as textile fibres, coatings, packaging. We are open to collaborate with various academic and industrial partners in the investigations of biobased polymers.
