My research area mainly focuses on the physics of shock waves and generation of extreme states of matter, involving both experimental and theoretical work. This area spans across multiple disciplines/applications, including plasma physics, high-voltage engineering, control and automation, spectroscopy, high-speed flow visualization, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and cellulose treatment techniques.
