Research area:
My research focuses on the development of sustainable, lignin-based polyurethane coatings for wood protection. By combining lignin chemistry and polymer science, I aim to enable the direct use of oxidized industrial lignin streams as functional macropolyols and to establish structure–reactivity–performance relationships that support scalable, high-performance bio-based coatings.
