Research focuses inter alia on optimising biogas production through enhanced lignocellulose conversion and improved waste management. This work extends to coupling biogas processes with mushroom cultivation, and the reuse of by-products from the paper and pulp industry as sustainable, peat-free substrates in mushroom cultivation. Our goal is to develop circular bio-based processes that promote sustainable food production. In parallel, we develop and refine protocols for the analysis of large biomolecules.
